Something Interesting...

Attitude changes every thing in our life. I did my first degree in Sinhalese medium. My aim was do my masters in English medium. But I was affraid to do so for long duration. Any way by the time I was able to change my attitude and had guts to start my masters. It was create very unplesant situation to me for doing individual presetations in English. But I was managed to aviod the affraidness and shyness. When I did first and second presentations eventually I was able to manage some level. If you want to do anything first of all you must have positive attitude in your mind that you can do it. Then you must prepare for whatever you desired to do for your benefit. Remember any mavarlous work in this world was done by human being. Therefore though you are a human being why dont you think that you can't. Think there is no word call cannot in your dictionary. Think always everything is possible. Try to develop possitive attituds as much as possible.

  1. Having to do presentations in any language would be quite daunting for anyone. I remember teaching my first class at British Council. It was an Elementary 3 class, and I was so nervous that I forgot what the past tense for 'go' was! It was awful - but a real eye-opener. That was when I realized that I needed to think about the students when I teach them, not worry about how nervous I felt.

To this day, I still feel nervous in the first lesson but in the lessons after that I'm fine.

  4. Yep Bettram. Can you remember my 1st presentation? I was trembling! But in the second one I improved. With my shyness I can't really talk with you guys like I type this but I'm improving! Never think that you are going to fail but think you will get there over and over again until you get there
